More LIFE Lessons! Why Goku Chose to Stay and Fight Frieza Until the End

When Planet Namek
was already on the verge of exploding
and disappearing from the face
of this infinite universe
of imagination
created by Akira Toriyama

Goku had the chance
to leave with everyone else
together
thanks to the Dragon Balls.

Alright!

Goku decided to stay and fight Frieza.

WHY?
Why not just take the win and leave?

A lot of people might think he did it
to find out whether he could defeat him..
to see if he could become number ONE
in the entire universe.

Back then, Frieza
was the most powerful being in the universe.

BUT

My conclusion is VERY different.

Goku HAD to stay..
He couldn't leave.
If he walked away, he'd lose that battle
and the entire war.

Both Goku and Frieza
represent the TWO sides
that live inside every one of us.

While Super Saiyan Goku
represents that infinite energy
that comes from being alive...

Frieza represents that part of ourselves
we wish we didn't have..
those thoughts
that stop us,
hold us back,
and paralyze us.

Those thoughts
that lead us to hate
and judge other people.

All that hatred
that rots you from the inside
and that, without exception,
EVERY SINGLE ONE OF US carries within.

So..

Goku couldn't leave..

That's a battle only YOU can fight.
It's YOU against YOURSELF.
