Sometimes... we have to turn our biggest flaw
into our greatest strength.
I had several terabytes of Anime...
most of which I barely watched..
I had a job I didn't like..
and a debt to myself that had been there for years..
I decided to do something about all of it..
A few days later..
I started discovering new things..
things that would bring me closer to my goal
without me even knowing it yet..
platforms like Plex TV and Emby came into my life.
I didn't go looking for them.. they found me..
Some would call it
coincidence..
others magic..
others the law of attraction..
But the thing is... that's exactly what happened..
So for a while..
I was enjoying all my Anime collections..
like a kid all over again..
they were for me
a moment just for me
and nobody else
my collection kept growing...
and so did its quality..
I went from having series in 480p and 720p
to looking for them in 1080p.
I wanted to recover every single series
that had ever meant something to me.
I'm not going to lie to you..
I won't say it was easy..
I found some of them..
and others I had given up on..
until once again... Magic came knocking at my door.
and I found a way to get them..
in 1080p too..
and in the language I wanted...
everything seemed to be working out perfectly...
and without me having to make a huge effort.
And that wasn't all..
I kept improving
the way I stored all those series..
until I could store almost 3 times as many..
suddenly my 4TB hard drives
had magically turned into 12TB drives..
it felt like life itself was showing me the way..
Finally, after a few years..
I've decided to write down everything I've learned..
so that other people can do the same..
so they can reconnect with their past..
relive it..
save it..
preserve it..
enjoy it..
pass it on...
